I'm not sure how it's called in other countries. My school was elementary and what you call middle school combined I think. We just called it elementary lol. Either way, no, the class chose it. (More like the boys chose it.) Edit: I checked on Google and you probably call it middle school lol

I think it's pretty complicated Basically, we just have elementary/middle school > high school > college or University if you're really smart. Yeah there were, but not by much though! It's just that we decided by majority counts and when all the boys choose Borat, well...

oye123 1,615
hellooo where are you staying somewhere? in the west? meh I'm not all too sure how it's in other schools but I only went to two schools in my life up till now (I think some do have seperate schools until 5 yo?? no idea) i am staying in the area close to Leiden (so south of holland) and you? tbh i dont remember much anymore from school anymore even though i just finished everything but yea the school i went to was a mixed school with an international side and dutch side, so i dont know but i think the some of system in the international side was adjusted to some of the things that the dutch school systems have, not much but a bit i think yea (since the info they have to teach is still kinda same) i went to a few schools and the systems were all slightly different in all of them and there were some schools that had separate schools for elementary, middle school and high school. like for e.g. in ukraine (which is where i am from) students can choose to either go on with school until year 12 (which i think 17years old) and then go to uni and then there is also a possibility to finish in the 9th year (which is 15 years old) and go to study in a kind of college sort of speak (its possible to start find kind of a specialization kind of) for 4 years and after it go to uni but instead of doing 3 years for bachelors they have to only do 2 years of uni (whereas the people that finish school have to do 3 years, in the end you still do the same amount of years you just reach it differently )

(In between Rotterdam and The Hague) If you go to a national school you have a few levels in high school and those mostly decide whether you'll go to college or uni (the difference is quite big). I don't think we have degrees such as masters or bachelor's either Can I just ask why you're studying here? :D

Oh possibly, I never bothered learning about Dutch uni because I never had a chance at uni anyway. I wish they used a schooling system that is similar to most others It's all so confusing But do you like it here?

It took an hour and a half for me to cycle to my school so I either took the bus, my scooter or car But yes in the Randstad (so where you live) most places are close. Good that you like it!
