Quite useful for indexing the important dates like exams, submissions and finals just to see if you have loaded weeks or exams/classes conflicts or how close is the next lab submission, if you have dentist appointment, driving test + exams so you need to prepare double for that, interviews for jobs so how much you should prepare while taking your classes, ho wait I can save time by skipping this class and go Tuesday with this professor instead, wait but I have a swimming competition Thursday so. Like planning you day hours by hours, doesn't really work like ho yeah I'll study 1 hours for physics and do 12 problems so 5 mins per problems and then I'll take a bath for 15 mins and then eat for 30 mins and then fold my clothes for 15 mins and 2 hours for my psychology class and then 30 mins of league and then I'll talk 25 mins with John and no more or I hang up on him, like nah brah doesn't really work, but for important events where you can hardly dodge, or like 3 important tasks per day max, it can be useful if you have at least the discipline to turn the right page every day. It's not dated so you can fill it in yourself, which is great if you randomly stop using a planner and then start again later on in the year. I bought a A5 Muji notebook to write my homework. Works just as well as anything else tbh, if I don't make a plan on paper I never get anything done so it's really useful imo. I bought a leuchtturm 1917 dotted a5 notebook on sale last year intending to use it as a bullet journal for but still haven't touched it because it was too much effort to have to plan the layouts and everything compared to premade planners.
