Mariacarla Boscono and Natasha Poly were both cancelled 3 times a day before the actual recording in previous VS shows. The only ones are secured are the Angels who have exclusive contracts under VS. I interned back in 2015 and went by what my boss (who was a junior editor) told me, which was that models were only pulled from the NY audition list unless they had A list factor that could bring in viewers. DLRB, Jessica and other celebrities walked the Dolce & Gabbana runway and they aren’t exactly “qualified†for it either. It’s just a ploy for publicity. Nana is young and gorgeous with a great background to boot, that’s more than enough reason for her to get a following. There are plenty of popular untalented celebrities out there too. I think Nana has a face (and proportion) for fashion (esp high end ones), she’s definitely going to be snatching endorsements left and right soon.
