It looks like Chinese actress Fan Bingbing has yet to escape from the clutches of the tax evasion scandal that has plagued her for the past few months.

Television host Cui Yongyuan, who originally split the beans about Bingbing’s tax evasion scandal took to his Weibo account on Monday, alleging that there was more to the story. He claimed that he still has a number of ‘yin-yang contracts’ that the actress has not declared, “including one that is worth a huge amount of moneyâ€.

He then ended his post by calling for Bingbing’s team to quit posting fluff pieces about her to clean up her image, threatening to reveal these “undeclared contracts†if his request was not met.

Once the post went online, it created great waves online, with netizens commenting, “Bingbing’s going to lose sleep over this againâ€. Some also called for Yongyuan to reveal the contracts, commenting, “Evil must be eradicatedâ€.

In May this year, the television host posted a picture of a ‘yin-yang contract’ that was signed by Bingbing, in an attempt to evade taxes. Following his exposé, Bingbing disappeared from the public’s eye for three months, as Chinese authorities investigated the offence.

In that period, a plethora of rumours filled the air, with Bingbing said to have been put under house arrest. In October this year, she released an official apology on Weibo, and was slapped with a S$95m fine for her actions, bringing an end to her disappearance from the spotlight.

What's his motive? I mean, I'm not going to defend her, if she's guilty then she deserves to be held accountable for her crimes and punished accordingly (like she would be in most countries and not in a way that goes against her human rights like I fear she would be), but what does he gain from doing all of this? Does he think he's some kind of an investigative journalist toying with human lives like that?

She committed a crime, and it seems so did he (cheating and IDK how legal it is for him to expose all of this). No heroes in this story, but I'm still worried for her safety. Thank you for the link.

They’re indeed both in the wrong, personally I don’t think he cares about what her team is doing but just rather wants to have another reason to release this other supposed ‘yin-yang contract’.

You’re welcome!

If she truly is guilty then expose her!!

I dont care whats his motive is, but if she evaded taxes then she (and everyone else) should be exposed.

No sympathies for rich people who dont pay taxes.

Agree with this 100%. I have no idea why so many Inetz are defending her like crazy.

istg he's going to lose everything if he keeps this up. he's such a fucking loser

You mean she's going to lose everything. He's the one with the public support, while FBB on the other hand....

If your gonna expose her at least do it for a good reason, but he's just doing it bc she acted in a movie that was supposedly based on him and his shitty actions. I hope he gets his own karma tbh

Yikes.

I feel bad for her but then I dont feel bad. Its weird

As for the guy, I have no great feelings about him. It's good that the news came to light, but he's just doing this because he's bitter, imo. Some twisted motive.

Am I the only one don't care about tax evasion stuff? Idk I just don't care people trying to do that.

I was borned in a country that government didn't do shit for people or provided any assistance support (instead they stealing people living support like land for so called "public properly" for "public good"). Our survival was completely all up to ourselves. So I don't think I would ever feel they deserved my tax (phew, there was no such system when I was still living there long time ago) as a result build up a mental that 'I only can depend on myself'. I feel that's how it is with alot of Asians (many never trust their own gov to do for the benefits of their people), from low income to rich would try to keep a bit to themselves if it possible. That's y, drug abused seems way much more scandalous and worthy for jail time than tax evasion in lots of Asian nation from my knowledge.

So I honestly don't really look at her as horrible person LOL

Greedy? sure esp she is very rich already but I'm still kinda understand wanting to keep more your own hard work money to yourself. Chinese with long history of poverty and gov nowhere to help u, the mental to protect your own financial for yourself/family is very high instead to whatever public fund that GOV promised to do?

P.S I'm a completely honest tax payer as an American though cuz I can see where my money gone to. My family benefits alot when we first came here as an immigration.
