Jeon So-Min Transforms Into Naive Village Girl For New Drama “Top Star U-Back�

Upcoming tvN drama “Top Star U-Back†has released more stills of Jeon So Min and Kim Ji Suk.

 

“Top Star U-Back†tells the story of an A-list celebrity who is sent to live quietly on a remote island after causing a big scandal. There he meets a village girl with a completely different outlook on life and they develop a romance.

 

To prepare for her role, Jun So Min transforms into a young woman whose fashion choices are still in the 80/90s. The role is said to be similar to Lee Ha Na‘s in “King of High School†and Park Bo Young‘s in “Oh My Ghostess.â€

 

As part of Kim Ji Suk’s character’s culture shock, Jun So Min’s character isn’t afraid to grab a squirming octopus with her bare hands, eats like a food fighter, and is generally unpredictable but bright and optimistic.

 

 

 

 

In another set of stills, Kim Ji Suk shows his city boy roots as he goes to the water dressed in a fashionable swimsuit. Jun So Min, on the other hand, is in full fisherwoman gear, with googles the size of her face and a head-to-toe bodysuit.

 

 

 

 

The production staff stated, “We filmed on location on Daemo Island in order to realistically capture the experience of living on a remote island. Kim Ji Suk and Jun So Min’s unexpected romance begins with Jun So Min’s unexpected life as a fisherwoman on this island. Please look forward to the comedy and romantic tension between them.â€
