Yeah it's odd. Ayase's Gibo to Musume was one if not the winner in the ratings last season and seems like Yonekura will get it this time.

the source said the actresses with the most impact in viewer ratings. gibo to musume's breakout star is yutaka takenouchi (his personal life might've played in part with the hype but still)

Thank you for the translation! I only brought up Ayase's drama because I saw op referencing Satomi's Unnatural which is a TBS drama too.

Gakky's drama started well but it it's ratings are now around 8.
