I live in Asia so the custom really is to let the kids stay in the house until they can be independent, so that's happening right now in my case (esp since I am doing further studies) If you don't want to go back home, maybe you can look at a nearby area which is cheaper. BBIIBBII 2,125 Posted October 28, 2018 Share Posted October 28, 2018 i graduated last year, got a job at company i interned for and moved into my first apartment six months after that. honestly it was too much too fast and i wish i would've taken a year off to stay at home and just enjoy the last break you'll get before adulting hits you full speed. I do wish I had taken some time off in between though, 'cause it's been non-stop and I haven't had time to just breathe and figure sh*t out. It's past 4 months now hahaha Although, I'm preparing for a government employment exam that I'll be taking in a few weeks. Honestly, I'm still figuring out what I want. I applied to companies I'd like to work with, but have not gotten any respond back except for one. I'm done with the initial interview. I'm hoping I'd get a second though it seems unlikely.
