Iwahashi Genki to take a break from King & Prince due to his Panic disorder

Earlier today Johnny & Associates announced that King & Prince Iwahashi Genki (21) will take break from entertainment activities for certain period starts from November. After discussions with doctors it was decided that Genki will concentrate on the treatment of panic disorder that he has suffered for years. According to the doctors the upcoming King & Prince island, that will have 72 shows in a span of 2 months, would be too much for Genki in his current situation and would make it impossible for him to receive appropriate care during that time. As experts said it would be better to establish a proper rest period while he's still young, Iwahashi, the members, agency and related persons discussed and came to the decision that a break from all activities with Kinpuri for the time being would be for the best.

Same disease as suffered by Domoto Tsuyoshi. The worst of it lasted for 2 years, and it took him like 7-8 to fully got over it even though he still kept performing. Hopefully Iwahashi would recuperate much sooner than that.
