Not gonna lie after seeing some fansite photos, i was shocked because of some boys in rap team have really good visuals. I was like "Where were you guys during the show???"

 

Yeah, they have a bunch so the comments always confused me. I think MBK/MBC are aware of this since they tried to showcase Junhyuk, Sangwon and Soomin at the start of the FRIENDS video.

 

TBH, I'm surprised Yonghun got eliminated so early since most of the visuals have stuck around, though I guess that's more to do with him already being in a debuted group and there's been some aversion to that like with Shihyun (who I've seen some people say they don't want in the final group, but the recent Yongguk situation seems to have changed people's opinion).

Even prior to the show, performance team was always going to be the most popular. Most of the visuals are there. Heck, I would even say the editing choices are influenced by that. They can't paint the Performance Team in too much of a negative light because they have the most fans, and those fans will be the ones who will stick around to support the group's activities in Korea. Of course, this leaves the rap team (who pretty much got made fun of for being "ugly" before the show even started, so they always had the least fans going in) to be the punching bag of all the drama.

 

Idg why rap team is considered ugly? They have a lot of good looking boys like Soomin, Junhyuk, Sangmin, Yongha, Sungwon and even Younghun that was eliminated was good looking. I'd say the numbers of visuals is pretty even for each team. Even in the performance team not everyone is a visual either.

Oh really? In which debuted group? I didn't have any idea :o

If I'm completely honest, I'm not crazy about the idea of Shihyun in the final group either. I like him but he's nowhere close to be one of my favorites. My ideal line up would be

Vocal: Jinseok, Yechan, Jinsung

Performance: Doyum, Seunghwan, Junseo

Rap: Junhyuk, Yongha and Sungwon/Sangmin

I wasn't expecting anything for Performance Team's Music Core performance today, but they revealed (what I believe are the) vote rankings after the reset. Here are the Top 3 from each team, from my memory:

 

Vocal:
