we need JYP and Bighit to join tbh

finally we cancelling that shit show

the only good thing we ever got out of there are the collabs (especially the one with Wiz Khalifa and Teyeon) with decent camera work

SM and YG will not get Daesang on MAMA while JYP and Big Hit probably will so both have no reason to not go. JYP is only not sending Twice to MMA this year because Twice will not get Daesang from Melon.

Why? MAMA has the best performances budget wise  tbh

Y'all need to stop caring about awards. Performances are the real gems

You really think SM will send EXO to watch BTS gets all the Daesang and all the screen time performance?

It's all package deal for them, if they come their groups have to get Daesang awards and a lot of screen time performance, otherwise they are not going.

You know what is weird? I never saw someone saying that it is SM or YG fault and that they are the ones that refuse to send their acts etc

all what I am seeing is Mnetsnake, mama is over etc

what makes them think that it is not the 2 companies' fault? They forgot how MAMA was actually a YG concert? The beef started when MAMA decided to give IOI the ROTY instead of BP and YG boycotted so whose fault is this?

and what about this year? SM artists went to kcon, mama literally invented a new award for NCT last year (best new asian artist or whatever), so again, whose fault is this?

I am not defending MAMA, they are like most award shows with no credibility but I am just here for the performances because they are great and give groups an opportunity to gain more fans

But the hypocrisy is real. When it was a company concert, MAMA was relevant, but now they are snakes

It is very obvious, the companies boycotting it because of some disagreements behind the scenes

I do love the spectacle of it I have to admit

+ it is the most famous award show internationally so a good chance to gain fans

and they invite groups with good physical sales regardless of their digitals so those who can't go to MMA (the second most important award show internationally and budget wise) can perform at MAMA
