Article: Chinese media reports, "Wanna One's Lai Kuan Lin has been in secret contact with Chinese industry insiders"

Source: TV Report via Nate

1. [+1,107, -47] I'm telling you, all the Chinese want to do is run away

2. [+984, -53] Either way, he's only a trainee under Cube once his contract with Wanna One is over. It doesn't really matter whether he leaves or not, right?

3. [+734, -23] So he's going to leave too?!

4. [+111, -11] So glad there are no Chinese members in BTS

5. [+84, -14] Already planning his betrayal before Wanna One's contract is even over ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

6. [+77, -4] These Chinese guys don't feel any shame at all. To them, working under a Korean agency is treated the same as studying abroad for a bit. It's the Korean agencies who lose out by investing time and money into these guys, which is basically the same as giving them a free ride in college, and they're the fools for continuing to do so without taking any legal action. Who knows what Lai Kuan Lin will choose to do in the future but Korean agencies need to wake up and stop getting backstabbed all the time.

7. [+56, -15] Well there are only two months left in Wanna One's contract so of course he's going to be bombarded with love calls ã…‹ã…‹ What's he got left for him in Cube once he goes back? He's just another trainee ã…‹ã…‹ I don't get why people are considering this a backstab

8. [+54, -7] Please limit idols to Koreans. If you think about it, all of the legendary groups in K-Pop have been all-Korean members.

9. [+38, -5] Please stop picking foreign members when all they do is use us for fame and raising their net worth before running back again..

10. [+29, -22] Wanna One's going to disband, what's so wrong about looking out for yourself for the future??

Why does NB never give any clear information? Which media outlets said so? Which companies has he contacted? Is this not or known by Cube?

because netizen buzz only translates NETIZEN reactions

It's been years and people still don't understand

Check soompi or other translators if you want articles translated

But W1's going to disband anyway??? It's a foregone conclusion and I doubt there's anything better waiting for him at Cube, so who wouldn't try to plan their next steps ahead of time? As for his contract with Cube, he's still technically a trainee so it probably wouldn't be that hard for him to leave.

But doesn't it make sense for her/him to give more info so people don't go to other sites?

she gets high traffic regardless so I doubt she cares that much

Plus she's gaining that all back by posting multiple times a day

Where if she had to translate every article as well as comments she wouldnt have time to post half the stories

....I'm not sure these people know how a business works?

Korean companies get their investment back from the money idols make them while in the group. People move on and get different jobs. Why do they treat companies as cults like you should ride or die for?

that international spy Lai Kuan Lin

LMAO.

Guanlin it's the only Wanna One what I care. He is my baby and I wish him success in his life. I saw him growing a lot in these 2 years on Korea.

South Koreans stop playing the victim because have a foreigner member has economical and marketing benefits.

And hit big in China and gaining money is a winwin(lol) for chinese member and the korean entertainment holding.

And so what if the chinese member being tired of korean pressure because is better gain money in China.SK members have destiny tied to entertainmet holding and knetz pressure but chinese member not.

It's sad but chinese (and other foreigner member) has the human right of fight of its dreams. One person supports a lot of hard work and bad mistreatment and the rumor of a foreigner gaining less money.

It's probably the continuation from the Taiwan/Chinese (can't remember which country exactly, but i think it's China) agency thing before.

In previous issue a Chinese agency want to manage Guanlin's Chinese activity, while Cube atm never signed with any company to handle their artist's Chinese promotion. I think he probably just talked what kind of promotion they offer?

Ngl i will be disappointed if he choose to go to acting path in China since i really want him to debut with Seonho. But whatever his choice is, i will support him [emoji177]
