I think this article (in Chinese) is about how much Japan has helped China for more than 30 years.

It's from 2012.

"China is far from being rich although they are the second biggest economy."

Thanks to Japan for that.

Japan started providing China with Official Development Assistance in 1979. More than 26 billion dollars in grant aid, loan and technical cooperation has contributed to China's economic growth.

From the article above.

日本æ´åŠ©ä¸ºä¸å›½æ”¹é©å¼€æ”¾ä¹‹åŽçš„ç»æµŽèµ·é£žä½œå‡ºäº†å·¨å¤§è´¡çŒ®

Google translation:  Japanese aid has made great contributions to the economic take-off after China’s reform and opening up

Japan was also the first country to give a hand to China after all the western countries slammed the door on China in 1989.

Yet they do this shit to Japan.

Yes!

TIL China's current economic development plan involves accepting unnecessary handouts from capitalist countries.

I guess at least this current plan didn't involve tens of millions of Chinese starving to death, so that's nice.
