Polaris_Tae 1,617 Posted October 23, 2018 Share Posted October 23, 2018 perhaps something on history (e.g. the return of Hong Kong and Macau to China and how a substantial number of HK citizens would rather go back to colonial rule than stay under the PRC as a SAR) pick a movie adaption of a book and analyze how movie adaptions have to cut (and sometimes even diverge/branch off) from the original source material (e.g. the first Percy Jackson movie takes elements from the second book in the series and does not end like the 1st book) and whether this can be seen as a positive or negative for the target audience, who may or may not have read the original source material. Some essay questions that I have previously received in uni that could be condensed into a middle school powerpoint: What are some of the major political, social and economic implications of our continuing dependence on fossil fuels? (could be difficult) Is Donald Trump Making America Great Again? Examine the relationship between America’s mainstream media and Government. (this includes legacy media - Print media and Broadcast Journalism of the NYT, CNN, Washington Post, Time Magazine, etc.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
