The sequel previously was set to open Nov. 1, 2019. "We had tremendous success releasing the first Wonder Woman film during the summer, so when we saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing competitive landscape, we did," Warners president of domestic distribution Jeff Goldstein said in a statement moments after Gadot tweeted. The Flash movie was pushed back too, theory is, now that Cavill is most probably out as Supes -and JL flopped-, they are doing a DCEU soft-reboot Flashpoint style.
