I'm likely going to complete my degree in Economics but I've been inspired by my psychiatrist, who also majored in Economics but went back to school to become a Psychiatrist. I'm torn because I hate biology and chemistry classes generally, and also hate calc--because I hate classes where the material isn't applied so I'm learning about cosines and limits when I just need a pre-req to get into an upper div class for my major. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well, but I hate the filler material that I don't need, and feel like I'm wasting my time. This is really all because I'm becoming more jaded about my Econ degree, my plans after school, and I really just want something stable that I'm interested in. Could the dermatology route be worth it? I'm unsure and dumb because I'm already in my third year, meaning I'm gonna have to go back to school if I want to become a dermatologist. But you should also ask yourself if you're ok with seeing up close rashes and ugly skin type of things.
