sparkle dust 1,841 Posted October 21, 2018 Share Posted October 21, 2018 I like the looks of longer nails (like a fair length nothing too crazy) but when I grow my nails out I just cant deal with it. I dont like the impracticality of it and the fact that it looks weird without any nail polish on and that it takes so much time to manage. There's something graceful to me about long nails while someone talks with their hands. I'm used to them, so I enjoy them, but getting to that point was kind of awkward. The other day when I was trying to take a shower in peace I gave myself a huge scratch while doing it. I've been careful ever since I have medium-ish natural nails, which I've had shaped stiletto style for a couple years now.
