why is jennie getting a solo when BLACKPINK haven't even released a full album yet?

All the members are getting a solo. To show off their individual talents as well as their groups. Apparently the plan is each individual and then as a group

the article said "solo projects"...so not guaranteed all four are getting music solos

i only see jennie and maybe rose getting one later

well it could bode well for bp. bom released a solo song early in 2ne1's career and it was a success without taking anything from 2ne1's success too.

one thing to note 2009-2010 yg has a different cal3ndar to current yg

we don't even know if all the members are getting a solo

A lot of Kpop groups only release singles and mini albums. Full albums are expensive to produce.

yeah, but even smaller groups comeback multiple times during the year. and blackpink have debuted more than 2 years ago under a big company and they have millions of fans and im pretty sure they have enough money to produce a full album or at least a proper mini one
