Does that make anyone else feel super uncomfortable? I just find it odd how they go out of their way to prove Koreans find them attractive or try to specifically date someone Korean. Sorta feels like they're searching for validation while also fetishizing an entire race? Most tend to be K-Pop fans trying to convince themselves their bias would be interested in them which is an entirely separate conversation. 

 

I just don't ever want imagine someone wanting to date me because of my nationality. For example: One of my former classmates openly brags about how he's teaching in Korea and managed to score a Korean girl. He moved there six months ago because he wanted someone who looked like the GFriend members (he's a white metal head). How do you guys feel about the wave of different ethnic groups going out of their way to prove Koreans find them attractive or only wanting to date Koreans? Like K-Music and Black Women, for example. 

Am I going bananas or is this an escalating concern? I apologize if this is a sensitive subject for anyone.

I mean, when you think about it, I'm sure every race and ethnicity thinks some other specific race or ethnicity might be attracted to them. If we should judge the examples you posted, OP, we should judge everyone. This is not specific to targeting Koreans.
