Hyoyo 108 Posted October 18, 2018 Share Posted October 18, 2018 It's seriously starting to piss me off. To be honest, I'm becoming kind of spiteful because of it. It's so unfair! Like, I've literally been changing myself into someone who is liked by pretty much everyone for the past few years, and still! I haven't had more than one person crush on me! What's worse is that, while I was trying to give that person a chance (I didn't really like them, but I wanted to make myself like them since I literally had no other options), they ended up getting a girlfriend! Seriously! My only luck with men is curious/confused straight guys, most of which already have girlfriends, and it irritates the living crap out of me. I used to be a lot more humble about it, but when the people that you are closest with now have to unprioritize you because of their s/o, it's a really shitty feeling. Of course, I'd be okay if I had my own s/o, but even though I've been on dating apps for FIVE years straight, I've never had a successful relationship. This is something that's also irritating cause half of my friends found their s/os through dating apps... I've honestly just been considering becoming some sort of loose slut because it feels like that's the only way any man is going to show me attention. Changing yourself from who you really aren't won't make it happen, though. Oh, it's not that I'm not being true to myself. I am !! I was a really toxic person before, and I had almost zero friends. Get out of that "its unfair" mentality and stop changing yourself for other people for starters. Your friends dropped you like a hot potato for their bf/gfs? Time for some new single friends. Yeah, dating apps aren't the best place to find someone who's into anything other than a hook up. My advice would be to focus on yourself, and better yourself mentally. Stop being spiteful lol.
