Appreciation NCT Dream is the Main Show not the opening act

A lot of people seem to be under the assumption that NCT Dream are the cute little left over unit that gets thrown crumbs by SM and who barely have a fanbase.

 

I'm here to burst that assumption

 

NCT DREAM got their first win on February 14 2017 with their song "My First and Last". This also marked the first win by any NCT unit. They achieved a triple crown, which means they won 3 consecutive weeks at the same music show

 

 

At the V-Chart awards in 2017 NCT DREAM won the "Top Promising Group" award

 

 

On Sept 3rd, NCT DREAM released their 2nd mini album, which broke NCT's record of first week sales, selling 124,000 copies in its first week!

 

 

The titletrack of the album, We Go Up, marked the first #1 on the charts for NCT and is NCT's highest peak on the Melon real-time charts

 

 

 

NCT DREAM was featured on the Billboard 21 under 21 2018 list and are the only Asian artist on the list this year

 

 

 

NCT Dream's We Go Up has placed 5 times on Billboard's World Albums Weekly Chart

 

 

As a Unit NCT Dream are absolutely dominating 

 

Their sounds appeals to the general public and their fanbase grows by the day, this is our last year with OT7 so if you don't Stan do it now before you miss out on this era completely

It's so weird to me that people doubt Dream so much with how much success they've had. I'm so happy for them, but it's sad that they won't be a permanent unit
