blossoms 4,722 Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 "Monthly Idol," an idol-fostering mobile game, has been attracting a growing number of players, including real K-pop stars Ilhoon from BTOB and Eunsu from MYTEEN. In the game, the players are CEOs of an idol agency who can make their own K-pop groups from 150 idol trainees. The game is designed to reflect the reality of the show business world by dealing with contracts, streaming, world tours and even the dating issues of idol group members. Many players have disclosed that they have become an "evil boss" after taking options mostly for the benefit of their company, not the singers. Rapper Ilhoon revealed his play for nearly two hours on YouTube on Monday.Taken from 'Monthly Idol' game hot among K-pop stars' written by Dong Sun-hwa for The Korea Times I'm literally obsessed with this game - It's so realistic and at the same time hilarious. I made a boy band with an alien in it and I called them all one letter names like J, H, P etc. lmaoo and they've basically become the next BTS. I am bALLINYou get to name your company, chose trainees, name the groups and their stagenames, create lightsticks and album concepts. Click here to view the Tweet The best thing about this game is you don't need to spend any money - there are options to watch ads for things that in other games you probably would have to spend real cash on. When im watching dramas on my laptop or whatever i just play the ads on my phone and get all the good trainees and clothes that way lol. It's charting quite high on the Korean App store these days - I Really recommend it!Are any of you guys playing Monthly Idol???It's available in both English and Korean and for iPhones and Androids I think. I had to stop myself from playing it this afternoon cause i was wasting so much time...
