UGH, that movie was amazing but holy crap, if you have depression or are prone to it, I would not watch it.  It really makes you question why life can just be so.... awful and no, I don't think the resolution of the ending ever made up for it.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Atonement, but I cried my eyes out during and after the movie and I would get so depressed thinking about it.  Really good but so sad
