This was...pretty sweet, wtf!?

I mean for a show with fanservice and a premise which seems to be a cliche romcom but builded in an almost "innocent" fantasy tale atmosphere, even the art direction elevates the sweetness of the show. adding the probably sweetest representation of hell with generic elements I've seen caught me off guard, even the fanservice felt sweet and innocent (WTF!?x2). I mean, I expected an average romcom but not this average romcom. And hell (lol) Beelzebub is so deam cute, I can't.

I think I just found my weekly dose of sugar for this season and I feel I'm gonna enjoy it every single bit.

This series is not cute, is so deam fluffy my heart can't take it ðŸ˜.

The first noticeable thing is how the fanservice was inexistent compared to the premiere but it allowed to showcase the show's true core, the fluffy comedy with, so far, a colorfull cast. Because on this episode Beelzebub was not as protagonic compared to last one but it let the introduction of two new members which pretty much irradiated their personalities from the first seconds they appeared. Finally, the sassyness of the narrator is the cherry on top of this fluffy comedy.

So far is unexpectedly enjoyable with a decent production, I'm impressed.

So the new characters, and thus ship, is a playboy with onee-chan complex around Beelzebub and her assistant a sadist tsundere who, of course, is secretly in love with her boss...the comedy draw for itself and I fucking love it!

 

It just keeps delivering it´s fluffy rom-com plot and I´m satisfied. The cast still colorfull, despite being rom-com cliche - The Playboy and Tsundere being a testament of that - and the art style and production have not declined yet wich is good since the art style is what enhance the fluffyness of the show along with off-screen narrator. Ón a personal note, I loved the mini-flashback when the demons were angels.

 

The show knows what it aiming for and is not trying to derail from that...yet, and I hope it stays that way.

So the new character is a two-faced shotacon with a WILD imagination...I love this show.

Tsubame's lost sister, Eurynome really knew how to make character presentation, her shotacons antic were really a blast. And Beelzebub with Mullin chemestry developmentvwas so...KYYYYYAAAAAAA! just cute too cute. Runners up for best ship of the season.

Almost getting into half of the season, As Miss Beelzebub likes is definetely among the few shows is delivering what it promised.

If I could say AWWWWWWWWW to sum-up the show I would do it.

 

You know, I will do it, AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

 

But now being serious, I´m amazed how the show still manage to deliver the fluff every week so far, but that is probably because it has not derailed of it´s romcom nature to aim for something more. The episodes are solid on it´s own  fluffy rom-com league, the production have not dropped yet, the cast still colorful, gosh this show is such a surprise.

What more I can say? The show really deliver the fluffyness this season needs. 

 

However, there was more background regarding the time Beelzebub was an angel before being casted out of heaven and I love that, moreover there was a bit more insighty regarding her role as the Pandemonium leader, but, as expected, it all lead to the main ship (Beelzebub and Mullin) antic so they can get close to each other .

Oh yes, my weekly dosis of sugar has come, altho with the obligatory pseudo-hot springs episode but, unsurprisesingly, managed to keep the fluff among the fanservice, even the fanservice felt fluffy but with an interesting approach.

 

While the first half was main male cast focus the second half was Beelzebub focus and it was funny she trying to learn how to start a small talk with Mullin.

However, as absurd it may sound, can not help but to feel this was the most random episode so far, but still enjoyable thanks to the cast and the fluff it deliver.

And now is time for more SargatanasxXAstaroth, that ship is just a walking meme with Sargatanas being Tsundere AF and Astaroth an outgoing playboy. The comedy draws by itself and delivers. Then, MullinxBeelzebub were adorable as usual and OMG! It's been a while Eurynome appeared stalking little boys lel.

An episode dedicated fully to BelphegorxAzazel which, as expected was cute. However, the first half felt weak compared to the second half but I will take it as a build up for the second half. The second half used the well-knwon drunk trope and it worked, dropped some interest information regarding Beelzebub past and YASS! Succubus!

And so the fluff ends, altho the second half's direction was really something else in a good way.

 

Overall the anime stayed on it's lane and that what it made it enjoyable, is nothing out of the ordinary but it did not needed to.
