What is your favorite field trip/excursion you went to as a student?

For me it would be camp. A whole week without school and camping out

with friends was such a great experience!

When I was in sixth grade we toured a General Mills factory. Our grade was split randomly into what our field trip was going to be (some kids toured a Czech & Slovak museum, others went to a engineering firm) and I thought my group would be be really boring. However, it was really interesting and we got to miss a whole day of school. At the end the tour they gave us a bunch of free cereal, fruit snacks, and Gushers. I never knew that cereal, fruit snacks, and Gushers tasted so much better when they were literally straight from the factory line. Afterwards we also got to eat at Olive Garden, while the other groups when to Chuck E Cheese.

Disney World in 5th grade for the Academic Games Tournament. It was so much fun!

We went to Barcelona for our Spanish class trip. Even though they speak catalán and we learned castilian Spanish in class I had fun. I really love Barcelona it's the prettiest city I've been to in Europe.

One week trip to Berlin in highschool ( it was the senior trip for a few students who were taking german)

we went to a lot of places, Auchswitz, the parlament, a stadium, museums, etc etc.

For my legal systems class we spent the entire day tourning the local jail and courthouse it was fascinating even though all we really sat in on were small claims and misdemeanor hearings. Also in the same class we had to go on a ride along for an assignment, so fun.

In third grade I went to Philidelphia and in ninth grade we went to a mine field i think

My schools never did nice or interesting trips.. it was either the town's castle (that everyone has been to 2589756876 times) or the forest near school, a hang out spot for junkies, the ground full of used needles and some condoms

 

boys in my class also liked to talk about how satanists  made sacrifices there, which seems unlikely now but it kept me up many night as an elementary school student since it was 5 mins away from home and I was terrified they'll kidnap and kill me

 

 

One time we went to the capital for a weekend in 6th grade and all I remember is our guide was a member of some cult and kept saying weird stuff and making everyone uncomfortable. Also I lost my Nokia in a ship.

 

I'll pick the castle trips as the best I guess >_<

idk i was pretty poor so i never went on any abroad trips even though my school did annual skiing trips to the alps

 

i think it was probably a trip to see an ice skating performance? it was really nice i loved it ashgfjfs though apart from that our school trips were just to recycling centres, colleges or museums so..?
