"I want to shoot a body video with you"
"I don't want to"

body cam: literally " ëª¸ìº " it's the type of webcam videos you see on adult websites where they get undressed etc.

The drunk investigator who's a foreigner asked YG's rookie model "let's shoot a body cam" on one of the scene. The model refused right away, to which Seungri said "This (investigator) is of high authority" coercing him to do the body cam. And the next scene, you saw YG Strategic Room staff running after the model who is trying to escape to remove his clothes

Alex: (hearing about the investigator saying how she's filing a divorce with her husband) You'll be fine. I will give you strength
Investigator: Really Alex? There's really something I would like to do with Alex right now, you know "body cam"? I want to shoot a body cam with you. Shoot one with me!
Alex: I hate body cams/I don't want to do body cams
Seungri: You f*cker, you're so full of yourself?
Investigator: Remove your clothes!
Alex: Why are we talking about body cam all of a sudden?
Seungri: Yah, this person is of high authority.

1. Seriously... This is not a fun show, don't watch it. And they go way too hard on the scandals. They don't even look cool and it's not fun to watch, I don't understand what they're trying to do

2. Are they crazy...?

3. Seungri is quite pathetic too...What is YG thinking?

4. This is so cheap... The generation we're living in right now has lost its sense of what's actually funny

5. Crazy they think this is funny? F*cking speechless, they're disgusting

6. This is still not something that can be considered normal for our country ... haã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

7. Trying so hard to make black comedy

8. Hyunsuk-ah, is this something you want to do?

9. I know they follow a script, but this is so disgusting

10. They should try to make us laugh at least, this just makes me disgusted instead..

This was scripted, like the rest of the show, it's satire. He wasn't actually pressured to do anything. Oh my God, these people can't be this daft unsure.png

There was a scene where One was "running away" from YGE too and guards chased after him and brought him back.

it was supposed to be funny but...

i don't see anything funny in forcing someone to strip his clothes.

may be i'm too stupid or too uneducated to understand high quality humor like this

This seem more fit for American/ British taste than Korean. Koreans can’t even do sarcasm, I don’t think they can deal with satire.

It make me a bit uncomfortable though when they have the “foreigner†as the high-authority investigator. Is it taking a jab that foreigners do that or they can’t ask a high-authority Korean male figure to do it because it hit too close to home.

People saying this is satire as if that makes it better lmao. Y'all are the same type of people who laugh at rape jokes

Way to generalize. Rape jokes are not comparable. You can mock the act of rape, or you can mock society's malicious views on rape. It's all about the intent. Are they mocking the issue? Or are they mocking those who take part in the issue? People who laugh at rape jokes are those who agree with mocking the issue, which is wrong. People who laugh at idiots who try to invalidate the seriousness of rape are not wrong. This show is meant to be the latter. They're replicating scenarios and making it blatant as to how wrong these people are to react in such a way. They're mocking the people who have warped views on these ideals, not the scenario itself.

If they couldn't understand IU's social commentary and viewed that as a 'scandal', I don't expect them to understand satire either lol.

IU has a right to that kind of social commentary because she dealt with so much shit.

YG doing this kind of social commentary is like saying "Look at all this terrible stuff we do isn't it so funny? We're gonna bring in some of our actual victims too so people can't get mad because they agreed to film it." YG is literally trying to fix their image by making fun of all the awful things they did that people are mad at them for. It isn't satire it's gross. Don't compare this to IU.

This is an assumption. Witch hunts arise from assumptions. You don't know their intent. So stop. You're doing the same thing as what those netizens did to IU.

People did this to 'The Office' when it first started out too, because they clearly did not understand the intent behind such a show. I'm glad someone is making steps in making warped scenarios blatant in KPOP. It's needed, because a lot of netizens lapse into that hive-like mentality and fail to see the reality of how they're reacting to the situation.

I knew this show would get backlash sooner or later you can just tell by their content that at some point they're bound to offend people and while I'm not against these kinds of shows and I do find some of their content amusing I just don't think YG as a company should've made something like this

Just as an example, when a model agency made that dumb reality show about models it did more harm than actual recognition for their roster

it’s satire. The entire point is to show how stupid something is to the point it becomes funny.

Agree on this. From a progressive point of view, I'm all for it. Bad move on the business side of things though. A society that equates criticism on sexualization of minors as actual sexualization of minors (re: IU) is not ready to be accepting of criticism on their own society. Unfortunately, with their current image, I'm not sure how YG can recover like how IU did. Perhaps through music, but I really don't know.

EDIT: looks like the downvote clan is here

You think so highly of YGE. It's a company not a person and while IU was witch hunted Yge did actual bad things. Take the recent Mixnine scam for example.

Imagine if Kangin was out there making comedy shows about drunk driving lmao

Eewwww scripted or not just eewwww

They made jokes about plastic surgery, mental health and now basically a powerplay to force models into posing naked. What next? Making fun of assault/rape victims?

Some lines just shouldn't be crossed
