SM Entertainment and Trans Media just signed Memorandum of Understanding and is said to make joint venture company in Indonesia

Trans Media, formerly known as PT Para Inti Investindo and PT Trans Corporation (Trans Corp), is a business unit of Indonesian corporation CT Corp in the fields of media. Trans Media was initially founded as Trans Corp, a liaison between the television station Trans TV and a station that had just taken over 49% ownership stake by CT Corp of Kompas Gramedia Group, Trans 7 (formerly TV7). Trans Media is a subsidiary of CT Corp, owned by Chairul Tanjung. On 15 December 2013, Trans Corp was split to Trans Media, Trans Lifestyle, Trans Property, Trans Oto Internasional, and Trans Retail.

Tbh i find it's pretty weird they choose to work with Trans Media since afaik, Trans Media doesn't have talent agency unlike MNC & NET. But still looking forward, however.

Well Whisnutama the founder of NET is former employee in Trans.corp

I think Trans.corp have influence in NET too..

Trans.corp is the biggest media company in Indonesia..

 

So if SM work with them then it will be for Big project..

 

I hope with this Music Industry in Indonesia can be big again like years ago..

Most likely, this joint venture project will be pretty much SM True 2.0

What SM True do?

- organize & promote concerts of SM's idols in Thailand

- distribute SM's music and merchandises in Thailand

- promote SM's idols via its media platforms

- facilitate & promote SM's audition in Thailand

- to work as the agency for NCT Bangkok

 

In short, SM True works as Thai branch of SM.

Well i think it's okay..

If it's first step for Indonesia Music to become popular again., and can make example to all Indonesia people to start use Digital platform legal for listen music.. And make all Artist/Musician in Indonesia to tour in all cities again like years ago..

 

I hope SM can make their Artist to Tour in all Indonesia City.. So other musician can start do that again too..

 

 

P.s. if i should be honest., right now music in Indonesia already dead..

No music shows again like years ago, no new face artist/musician appear & become popular too..

 

I don't want Indonesia become like their neighbor countrys in SEA & China.. Because years ago Indonesia music is the face music of SEA countrys.. Now it's not like that again..

No. He left Trans because the company didn't want to use his vision anymore as he always wants to make high quality entertainment.

 

Net isn't owned by Trans. Trans only owns Trans tv & Trans7

Ayo bicara indonesia saja, karena bahasa inggrisku tidak terlalu baik..

 

Iya aku tahu..

Tapi yang aku maksud itu adalah whisnutama punya sejarah dengan Trans.corp.. Jadi menurutku itu dapat dimengerti jika aku pikir Trans punya pengaruh di Net juga, karena biar bagaimanapun Whisnutama adalah mantan karyawan Trans.corp..

 

Saya pikir kita tidak perlu memperpanjang soal ini karena menurutku jika SMXTrans projek ini tampil di Net, itu bagus.. Dan jika mereka tidak tampil, bagiku itu juga tidak apa-apa..

I don't mean all Indonesia Artist should be from SM..

But what i want to say is I hope with SM come in Indonesia, then music industry in Indonesia can get new face/artist fresh with focus only on music & concert tour..

Because i already tell before, Indonesia music industry already dead, and not same like end 90's - 2010, which all artist/musician in Indonesia always appear on TV, and have 5-6 music shows in a week..

And the most important is Artist/Musician always Tour in all city in Indonesia & other SEA countrys years ago, which it's not happen again since maybe 5 years ago..

 

So with company like SM which focus on entertaiment (music) come & work in Indonesia.. I hope other company & Indonesia people can focus on music in our country again..

 

P.s. well i know Indonesia music not popular in Thailand, but Indonesia music is popular in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei..

And if i should talk about achievement in music, Indonesia Musician already have many of it in the world..

And to say it with honestly Indonesia Music market is more bigger compare to Thailand music market..

I remember Lee So man saying something in 2017, that SM will pick  Nct Asian team and plan to train a local South East Asian group. Maybe the translation wasn't accurate.
