Finding Passion or Meaning to life

Ask questions and try to find answers, either on your own or with others to help you along the way.

Reading books from various authors also helps, gives you perspective that you didn't have before.

what if all of that has been tried but it didnt work?  :._.: what do you resort to next?

A blackjack I follow was diagnosed with stage 3 leukaemia today and it terrifies the shit out of me that that could happen to any of us at any moment so I guess I just try to do everything I hope to and not dwell on the negative. Find something that you enjoy even a little bit and see where it takes you. Don't think about the future. Take each day at a time. Fighting.

Eat, Pray. Love.

No, seriously now.

Meditate, read, listen to music, write. Writing about everything that goes trough your mind really helps a lot. Write and reflect on what's inside your head.

Also, smile. Even though you don't feel like smiling, do it. For  around a minute. Then you'll see how your mood becomes better, and with better mood there come better visions about your life.

Think about good things that happened to you.

Dream. Dream alot about what you want to become/have.

Have hope. Have feith.

Even though you don't feel like having feith, hoping, living your life, make yourself believe the opposite.

Also, don't forget that around you are a lot of people that care for you and love you, so that should be the main reason for wanting your life to go on.

Be strong, oye123!

Just take it slowly step by step. Don't focus on the future too much if you cant handle it at the moment. Focus on today, now. After work go explore the city, see what it has to offer that you haven't seen before.

Do something outside your comfort zone, If you don't play video games try one (I recommend Mass Effect), If you don't enjoy heights that much go to a theme park and try a few scary rides to get your blood pumping.

Most importantly don't loose hope. Keep on talking to people until you figure this shit out. I am here if you want to talk and you like hearing bullshit. I am a master of it  :datass:  :datass:  :datass:

I guess that in this case the most important thing is to understand first why you feel this way: has something happened to you? A love story gone wrong, a problem in your family, school or elsewhere that made you lose your faith/hope in life? And if this is the case, why? (Of course I don't want you to answer to these questions here, they're only suggestions :)) Try to knot yourself more, investigate yourself, find what moves you and what makes or would make you happy.. But never stop hoping and fighting, remember that YOU are the most important thing and the first reason for you to get up everyday and make something good out of you life :)

sometimes i run away from my problems and feel bad for doing so. but feeling bad makes me realize that i have to try harder to make myself happy and confident. i look at other people doing what they love or being happy with the way things are even when they lead such a simple life. i admire people like this and respect them. i think that everyone has the potential to be happy as well and try to stay optimistic. just because you reached a certain age does not mean you have to have all answers. "how many years do you have ahead of you? the state you're in at the moment does not have to last forever." is what i often tell myself. i also think that enjoying life has a lot to do with accepting yourself...

that's my experience with lack of motivation.

Live for the betterment of society. I don't mind not getting married or having kids. Most people won't understand that. But I'm satisfied knowing I will dedicate myself to a job that directly helps others using my knowledge and experience in the field. Makes up for the shitty jobs other people do.

I also find Carl Sagan to be helpful. The first few minutes of the first episode of his 'Cosmos' series is enough to get me up again.

i think of life as a collective bunch of big (ex: finishing school) and little (ex: getting through finals week) projects

there's always a next step because there's always room for self-improvement

you just have to invest your time in something you find worthwhile or interesting

dont rely on routines and expose yourself to new things
