Asuka and her friends, members of the Crystal Radio Club, are always in the lookout for new adventures. They have been lately doing a famous ritual which, according to the legend, it will teleport them into a new world but with no results on their attempts. Until one day all the conditions are met and the gang met an alternate version of Asuka in a different reality.

*guys! guys! bad CG is being attacked by bad CG

This first episode really went all out by putting on the table the premise and it's mysteries and I really appreciate that. However, it failed in building up the tension for the suspense, and that is because it main focus, at least on this episode, was to showcase the cast as how cute they can be, in special the main character Asuka, which could be a hit or miss depending on what are you searching for, and I'm more for the sci-fi stuff. However, there is some potential to provide gold comedy moments with the premise if it's played well, since the potential was shown in the episode.

The production was acceptable, ost as well and even the fanservice too, this first episode did an alright job althought it does not present an amazing series but rather an enjoyable one so far, it will all depends how it play it's cards which are strong ones 'gotta say.

I loved how they explained how the show's universe's mechanics works, the whole fundaments behind the Parallel Worlds and how they work was interesting enough to get me hook. And the drama unfold on this episode was executed well, not masterfully, but alright with an acceptable pacing along with world building and character performance.

However, it still fails on building the tension, it got better in some moments but still lackluster to provide a deeper shock, the obvious production quality drop (although probably saving for the next fight scene since this time was full story mode) and the feeling that at some points the script tried too hard to make the girls look cute (Asuka already mastered to look cute in this not-to-take-it-cute plot, and Mia as well without even trying, even SeriousSuka is cute without trying too, but with the rest of the cast it was obvious they tried hard) were some remarkables missteps this episode.

Overall, still entertaining.

This episode managed to introduce elements to make up it's flaws and thus making it more enjoyable.

Let start with the flaws, it seems the production got worse for the 2D parts, it still does not know how to build up tension and everything seems sci-fi cliche.

Now what it making up for it is the world building, premise, despite being cliche, how Nana character was constructed this episode went well, the girl's reaction felt more natural, the fight scenes improved a bit and #thankgod they are exploiting the potential comedy moments with the element of seeing your alternative self in the same reality (and of course Asuka would be hype about it).

So far is an entertaining ride, can't say it wasn't expected that Nana would be an Equalizer since, like I said, most of it's elements are cliche, but is delivering.

Of course, it would not be a sci-fi travel show without the wild west arc LMAO, the funniest episode so far.

This time everything went on the right pace, the world building, character building, tension - yes the series finally knew how to build up tension -, comedy to the point is just a matter if you are fond with the premise to like the show, because this episode pretty much gave away how is going to be from here onwards.

The main cast reactions felt natural and genuine compared to the last arc but gosh the production droppage is really clear that at some points it can be a turn off. But overall, an enjoyable episode and the best so far.

Yep, the shows biggest weaks will be the production and soundtrack, because it already gave away how it wil be and is delivering on that.

The first half was weak because, again, it did not knew how to build tension, although I enjoyed how they are still exploiting the comedy moments with the alternatives selves of the cast. However by the second half the tension building kicks in and thus made it more enjoyable. Finally, this arc's plot developed well on the right pace and the main arc slowly but not dragging is progressing.

Mia is now an Equalizer, now time to wait who is next, because this show is enjoyable if you are among it´s public.

On an extra note, "Soranetarium", as expected will be among the underrated OP of this season because the full version is awesome, I would say it boost the show´s atmosphere to new levels.

Of course the production wil improve for the beach episode imstupid.png, Asuka got ´deam boobs tho.

Since is beach episode this was more relaxed...most of the time since the introduced elements for the, appereantly, current arc are cliche but dark for the show´s cast mood. Moreover, I like how the characters are now more aware of how thing work and so their interactions feel more natural than before.

Now is Chloe turn, wonder how her twilight will look like, I can forsee how will be the clutter of this fragment but still, surprise anime.

And the production went back to before beach episode :imstupid: . Anyway, the resolution of Chloe's arc went alright, not great neither mediocre just the right amount of entertaiment for enjoyment. The fights were more stylished, the dynamics between Asuka, SeiousKa and EroYuu were funny and the plot, even tho it did not went all out as I expected, was alright.

This time it focused on the slice of life part which showed the growth of the cast interaction and how they are not awkward anymore...but the production value really tainted the experience and at some point it was just an eye-sore. Folllowing that it was the turn to go in depth between the 2 Asukas and it delivered on that, it did not exceed neither underperformed just went right...but again, the production....why? BUT at the end of the episode which pretty much set the point of "no return" the production quality boosted a lot and it did it's job on making the cliffhanger catchy. But overall a so-so episode and is mostly due the production and sometimes the script not being strong enough to make up for it.

This pretty much set the base for the oncoming finale and probably their most serious episode so far. Altho I loved how the script keep exploring the comedy possibilities with the anime setting and the fight scenes looked pretty neat. However, can't say the "reveal" of who is the King of Twilight was groundbreaking (*pretends to be shocked) but it was handled the best they could. Altho how the elements were arranged once the episode ended make it interesting how it will go on the last remaining episodes.

Yep, it was unsettling to see Asuka being more hyper than usual but it served as a plot device to explore more of Asuka's personality and the confrontation about it went pretty nice. The turnaround for that character in a hoodie served as a big f*ck you to any idea already concived base on the previous episode, a twist needed to give more tension to the plot. Overaññ, is shaping up to an interesting finale.

Unironically, the GL element was not forced at all thanks to ero-Yuu introsuction early. Now, back to the episode, the most intense so far but at times it felt pretentious in the characters development part. I mean, that part managed to NOT be cliche (which is surprising) but it's execution felt try-hard at times in pushing the characters forward. Besides, the fight this time wes phenomenal.

This last episode is divided in 2 parts, the amazing one and the streetching one. The first half really elevated the anime to unexpected heights with it's artistry and approach to the plot and it's...somehow...resolution and then there is the second half which was just around 15 minutes or more of filler in the sense it was so bland compared to the first half but most important, the story finished in then first half so nothing new was added in the second half.

Overall, as expected, this series was average, not bad but neither oustanding, it has it's shining moments - like the first half of this episode - but then goes back on being a magical girl -esque show.
