and out of the rest of the members surprisingly i think if You Zhangjing can keep the current momentum of his songs charting high on charts, he'll last long in the industry even as a solo singer.

First the amount of support he gets is ridiculous and how involved he is in every aspect of his work is rare in this industry and gets him a lot of respect from just about everyone. People have been talking about the noticeable gap between him and other artists on Idol Hits.

Cai Xukun is too smart to let his popularity fade without a fight so he'll be around for a while. Unless his agency screws up, Nongnong should be fine as well. Zhangjing is really gaining traction but he'll need many more songs to secure his place since his fanbase is less rabid. Yuehua is pretty aggressive in their promotion tbh so I think Yuehua's trio will stay in the spotlight as long as Yuehua wants them to, they also have some pretty devoted fans.

Zhangjing could end up being the one with the longest career. Xukun has a very big fanbase, but at the same time it's mostly that, a fanbase, not the general public paying attention to his songs. So when he gets older, and his fanbase with him, he might end up losing a big part of it. Meanwhile Zhangjing doesn't have that many rabid fans, however he's got the general public's attention, not because of his looks, but thanks to his voice - which is not something he's going to lose just by aging.

I would have said FCC if his sister didn’t mess up, tho he’s been recently starting to bounce back with some solo activities but public sentiment has affected him a bit. He still has dedicated fans of course but I noticed Justin and ZZT already surpassed him in weibo followers when he was ahead of them before. ZZT has most weibo followers after Xukun, Justin right behind him (both 9.2mil) so they’ll be fine as long as YH keeps pushing them. I can see Justin going pretty far as an idol bc of his young age and dedicated fanbase. In 4 years he will only be 20...YH also gives him the most variety opportunities out of the 3 which will get his name out there compared to endorsements. He can prob surpass ZZT in the long run. I doubt anyone can surpass Xukun tho. Xukun is the only one who I actually think can MAYBE reach Luhan, tfboys etc. level. Nongnong will be fine as a solo. Zhangjing can have a good career doing OSTs but he needs to expand his fanbase. I don’t see him going into acting so singer is his only route. LYJ will prob do decent and I see him venturing into acting. XG and WZY might fade away... only time will tell.

Agreed about the dancing part. He's an awesome vocalist but a lot of people don't know that boy can really dance too. He could be really successful alternating ballads with uptempo dance songs tbh. After following YH’s c-fandom on weibo for so long I can say that their fandom is really messy and the company itself is more messed up. The 3 in NPC have a lot of supporters but none of them are the main person who YH is pushing in NEX7. FCC is still the most safe since he can leave YH cause he already established his own studio. The other 2 will stay relevant as long as YH doesn’t mess up but I really hope they can leave as soon as their contracts are up. Tbh YH gonna do more harm than good to their careers in the long run but that’s too much to explain. BC is shit too so YZJ should leave if he can. The only safe ones are Xukun and Nongnong.

ZZT has 4 endorsements and 2 varieties; Justin has 3 varieties, rumored for 2 more and 3 endormsents; FCC has several endorsements, no varieties. Endorsements don’t really do anything cause only fans know about them/buy them. Tbh they deserve better. As much as I like nex7 as a group, I think they might end up like uniq (hopefully I’m wrong cause the 3 are my biases). Most people think the 3 will do fine but I’m lowkey worried about YH messing it up. YH’s reputation in China is just ... after everything that happened. I can only hope for the best for them and we will see in a few years time.

Well, I don't see anything bad with that? Bi Wenjun is the most suitable for modeling/dramas because he has the visuals for that, but the thing is that it's not like the trio is neglected either. ZZT with 4 endorsements and 2 varieties, and Justin with 3 endorsements and even more varieties are getting a lot of work too. If anything, Yuehua neglects Quanzhe/Zeren/Xinchun much more but that's bound to happen. Sadly, most companies only push the most popular members but in general the group is doing well.
