BlinkleBee 2,701 Posted September 27, 2018 Share Posted September 27, 2018 it's always a desicion a woman has to make for her own she shouldn't be judged for it and neither should she be praised for it. if a woman is a situation where getting a child or raising up a child is impossible , she shouldn't be forced to keep it. here in Germany we once had a case where a woman wanted an abortion after she got pregnant due to rape, but the hospital she went to was an catholic one so they refused to do so .(there are actually more cases like that only did this one had a big media attention) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Though, I will say abortion should never be your first resort (especially if the child was concieved through your own adult decisions and consentual actions) but if it is truly the best option for you, then by all means, do it. Though I do think it should be legal. I don't agree with it being the norm but I'm not gonna force other people follow my personal morals, especially when they have situations I haven't been though. We have an overcrowded planet and children are dying of hunger everyday. If you care about children lives help the ones that are living in poor conditions right now. If a woman wants an abortion, she will find a way to have one - you're just preventing her from accessing one that is safe and won't endanger her life. There are so many reasons a woman may need an abortion, and to deny access to that is cruel to the mother and potentially the fetus as well. Many WANTED babies are aborted due to medical reasons, either for the mother, the fetus, or in the case of multiples, the other fetus(es) in the womb.
