Polaris_Tae 1,617
I'd say 1994-1995 as people born around this time and later do not have any shared experiences with the majority of Gen Y, most likely don't have concrete memories of 9-11, did not come of age during the turn of the century, grew up with tech (rather than it being introduced like gen y) and probs grew up on shows like Hannah Montana rather than Kim Possible and the PS3 and Wii. basically if you can't remember 9-11 you're gen z

I remember when not every family had a pc, slowly everyone getting internet, how the mobile phones developed etc.

Velvet Queen 3,319
I think overall its hard to pin point when exactly as those of us born in the 90s feel like an in-between generation. We grew up during a time when technology was growing however during this time technology wasn't as readily available as it is now so we know what it's like to not have a computer/mobile phone etc where as gen z kids don't really know a life without those things. We don't really feel like we fit in with those born in the 80s or 00s so we're sort of this in-between group of people who know what it's like to be a part of both generations. Gilraen92 9,334
I'd say mid/late 90s to mid 00s? Because I guess even people born in 94-95 can remember 9/11. I do remember stuff that happened when I was only 6-7.
vroom 3,221
wow i learnt sth new from this thread and looks like the general consensus is that people born in 94-95 don't really have 1 clear-cut gen they belong to, ie. the special 'lone wolves'
