The Truth behind Bhad Bhabie's fame | Colorism in Hip Hop

What do you mean?

When a black woman wants to stan a black woman, it's because she needs someone of her colour to look up to.

When a white girl wants to stan a white girl, it's because of colorism, especially because there's an over-representation of white women in Hip-Hop. /s

We have Iggy and this Bhad Bhabie girl - so many white female rappers, especially compared to the very few black female rappers like Cardi, Nicki, Azealia, Young M.A, Kehlani, Lil Kim, Missy Elliott, Remy Ma, etc...  Obviously these black women stanning black female rappers are doing so because of their under-representation and their need to see someone like them in the media, compared to the colorist little white girl consumers who are fawning over Bhad Bhabie because she's white.

And then you have this Asian Doll lady who wants to cry out colorism, which is intrinsically related to racism, yet she literally calls herself Asian doll because she's "obsessed with Asian fashion"... sure hope she's not one of those CUltUraL ApPROpRiatIOn types...

She acknowledges another black female rapper who says colorism doesn't happen, but then does a 180 and says that she's wrong and needs to realise that it is real just because...

Perhaps this "struggle" is a fairytale that's reverberated and only exists in their own echo chamber and whatever remnants of it that may exist are just self-imposed by their own hypocrital culture. A self-fulfilling prophecy.
