I reported earlier that Twice broke Kara's record this year but several onces recounted their album sales of 2017 and it appears that Twice broke that record last year! I put the wrong number of sales because I used the report of other onces who counted 1.4M sales and not 1.66M. Sorry for this mistake.   

 

Conclusion: Twice broke Kara's record last year and they're setting a new record this year! 

 

Methodology: I counted albums, single albums and video albums (DVD), and past releases sold in a year for each one of these acts.
