He was one of my favorite idols and the fact that he past away left me feel empty for about a day. He will forever be missed. TOP's scandal and being hospitalized. I was really worried about him. The hell week that ARMY experienced when BTS got themselves into two controversies that they themselves did not ask for. The military exemption that was brought up by the politicians/ news broadcasts and angered the public and the song that contained lyrics from the Japanese producer that brought a division among the fandom. I use to a huge Shawol and it was just so weird to see someone I use to be a fan of pass away. Not nearly as bad but Jessica been kicked out was pretty bad as well. I had been a Sone for years before that happened and SNSD use to play up to their Soshi Bond a lot and everything just shattered when she left. I still love them though. (Baby Kara Sojin did hit me the hardest overall tbh. She didn't really have a chance to truly shine.) As for 100% Minwoo I didn't really know much about him and it doesn't seem right to feign sadness. I feel for the fans and his close ones. But what really got me was the day (or a few days) AFTER Jonghyun's death. Someone who had on their profile in memory of Jonghyun and their profile was advocating for depression and suicide awareness.... The SAME person...had DARED to wish another idol would commit suicide. :/ It wasn't even just that person either, I saw a few others. That got me so up in my feelings. Speaking of daring another to wish death upon an idol. After Ladies Code Eun.B and RiSe died, A.Kor's Kemy's diss rap entry to a PRIVATE RAP competition got leaked. A portion of the diss was about Park Bom. Before Kemy's diss track had been released CERTAIN so called BLACKJACKS had dragged Bom's name all through the mud. And then some of those very SAME Blackjacks who dragged Bom's name all through the mud had DARED to wish that EVERYONE of A.Kor died instead of Eun.B And RiSe. Because apparently Jiyoung, Minju, Daya and Taehee were just as responsible as Kemy because they didn't stop Kemy from submitting her diss to the PRIVATE rap competition. AIN'T NO ONE GOT CONTROL OVER WHAT THEIR GROUP MEMBERS DO. You'd think by that point people would understand that but naaah. Fortunately, Daya and Taehee left the company awhile afterwards. I was hoping for a sub-unit for them, since they were my favorite members and were the 2/3 singers of the group. TL;DR K-pop fans/stans/whatever wishing death on another idol SHORTLY after an idol(s) passed away. Some of which were being hypocritical. i.e advocating about depression and suicide but wishing another idol takes their life OR craps on another idol but then wishes death on someone who said the EXACT same things they did. Worst days of being a K-pop fan for me..... Well ignorin the racist and ignorant remarks certain other K-pop fans have made, but...eh... I'm African-American it happens outside of K-pop fandom too.
