Princess Eugenie’s extravagant nuptials could cost $A4.75 million

FOLLOWING the nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the royals are reportedly set to splash some serious cash when Princess Eugenie ties the knot with fiance Jack Brooksbank next month.

Princess Eugenie and her fiance, wine merchant Jack Brooksbank, are set to tie the knot next month and an expert predicts it will cost serious cash — and feature even more guests than Harry and Meghan’s nuptials.

Hamish Shephard, founder of wedding planning app Bridebook.co.uk, believes Princess Eugenie’s wedding will cost more than $A4.75 million. Though that is still a lot cheaper than Harry and Meghan’s, which was said to have had an $A45 million price tag.

Daily Mail reports that Shephard has calculated the cost of Eugenue’s 1200-guest wedding based on an analysis of 170,000 previous nuptials.

It includes a $A365,000 wedding dress, $A153,000 worth of booze, $A182,000 in floral arrangements, and nearly $A5000 for hair and make-up services, according to the Mail.

Brooksbank predicts British designer Stella McCartney will create Eugenie’s wedding gown, after she designed the Duchess of Sussex’s reception outfit.

Eugenie and Jack will tie the knot at St George’s chapel on October 12, with a reception at Windsor Castle.

“After Meghan and Harry’s wedding was the most viewed wedding in history, a second royal wedding at Windsor is certainly going to attract another global audience,” Shephard told the tabloid.

“With Eugenie and Jack both attendees at Harry and Meghan’s wedding at Windsor Castle earlier in the year, they will certainly want to differentiate their day to celebrate their individuality and have their personalities demonstrated throughout the wedding details,” Shepard added, according to the Daily Mail.

“After Meghan broke tradition by walking herself down the aisle, and by having a gospel choir and her now infamous preacher, Eugenie will be delighted to have the freedom to do exactly what she wants.

“Whilst Meghan and Harry’s wedding was an international spectacular, Eugenie and Jack will be having a more homely occasion celebrating the best of Britain, but with an equally star studded guest list.”

"After Meghan and Harry’s wedding was the most viewed wedding in history"

not that it is that important but I think William and Kate's wedding had higher viewership all around the world. I remember reading something like that.

Anyways, I am here for expensive royal weddings that my taxes don't pay for. Now if I lived in the UK, I wouldn't be happy.
