These infos are not new.

What are shocking to me are:
1. Where is FBB? She totally disappeared and although most are just rumors and speculations, but there's no smoke without fire
2. Her fiancée dropped her really quick
3. I've always wanted to know who is/are her powerful "benefactor(s)"

I personally think the government is using her popularity both in China and internationally to set an example for other popular celebrities. They had been wanting to exercise more control over earnings by celebs and now they have the perfect opportunity. I am curious about what will happen to Huang Xiaoming and Zhao Wei. Zhao Wei is promoting fine since her scandal happened some time ago, but I do think Huang Xiaoming cut back a little. But nothing compared to what is happening to FBB.

It is sad that this can affect her romantic life. :/

Li Chen have always been like that though.

He gunned for her when she was 'it'. Dropped her after she cold.

They are not the only one, I saw plenty of international newspaper/websites talking about it.

I think that Bingbing should be punished but the fact she totally disappeared is worrying, especially since it doesn't seem like she disappeared on her own. People often forget it, but even if it's kinda controversial, according to a majority of countries and specialists China is a dictatorship. Which means that maybe the government sent her in a terrible place and are doing god knows what to her. Economic crime is something really serious, and not only in China so I'm sure we won't have news about her until a very long time (or never, who knows).

I just hope she's fine whenever she is and that we will see her soon, and healthy. Her career is probably ruined now but it doesn't really matter as long as she's fine

Yes, you are right there are more articles about it. But it's the one that popped into my timeline today.

Exactly my thoughts. Obviously what she did is wrong but her disappearance is concerning.

He does seem like a shady guy. I remember he was dating someone and dropped her so fast for FBB.

I'm guessing it is not uncommon for yin-yang contracts in the industry and probably for the most part, insiders/government turn the blind eye - until you piss them off somehow, which is what has happened to FBB.

That said, she has done the wrong thing, she got exposed by a person holding a grudge / seeking revenge and it blew up.

Her 'star-power' will not save her as there is no way the government will turn the blind eye to this now and she will be made an example of.

I read that he is from a military family and thus cannot be with somebody who committed economic crimes.

Yes.

I would also add that this is a type of crime that the general public hate. Law-abiding people with regular jobs trying to make a living. While people like FBB, who is already very rich, trying to become richer by breaking the law. Normal people hate this.

Also, tax money goes to health care, education, public transport, infrastructure etc. So the general public is losing out when people dont pay taxes.

Where is the legal process, she still has right although she committed crime..
But what going on with her disappearance so far is like the work of mafia, no official news from legal department what her supposed punishment for tax evasion (if she is in jailed, where is the court or her lawyer statement? Or there is none...). Everything seems at the dark and shady, no transparent legal process for her.
