Despicable right-wing lyrics of the guy who wrote BTS' song

News recently came out that producer and song-writer Akimoto Yasushi will be writing the lyrics for BTS upcoming Japanese single. This has led to criticism from Korean fans due to Yasushi's alleged right wing past. In this post I'll take a look at the lyrics of two notable songs that will expose his despicable right wing nature.

Exhibit 1: Bokutachi Wa Tatakawanai (the song that started it all)

As you can see, this video is extremely violent. The violence and militaristic image cemented his status as a right-winger in Korea.

And then we get to the lyrics...

And things change completely. Bokutachi Wa Tatakawanai means "We will never fight" and is a pacifist song.

We will never fight
Believing in love
We said we've only exchanged blows
Time will never resolve

With only a single button
Mismatched which caused a conflict between each other
The misery till today
Let's forgive each other

We will never fight
Believing in love
With that fist raised
The day has come to take down everyone
Lalala... (Someday)
Lalala... (Surely)
Lalala...

We won't fight
We believe in love
The day will come when everyone
Lowers their raised fists

Hatred binds us in chains
And so we'll break them

Now that we've discussed Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai, let's move on the Xzibit 2:

Kaze wa Fuite Iru

This song was released after the earthquake and following tsunami hit Japan in 2011 as AKB48 took part in the relief efforts by donating and visiting the ravaged Tohoku region several times for charity concerts.

Even so, the wind blows
towards the future
Feel the breath of life
on your cheek
Even so, I will strongly
live on
Now, shall we start by
laying down a single brick?

The wound of our memories
have become scars
Within the pain,
kindness is born
Who should I
embrace first?
Let's talk about our dreams
while in our warmth

How will BTS' image ever recover from working with such a right-wing extremist? Only time will tell.

Aki p about to give BTS a 48 song.

K-fans are making a big deal out of it 0u0plz.png
1. He is the main producer for that new IZ*ONE group and nobody is making a fuss about it.
2. His other lyrics might be problematic but it doesn't mean the lyrics he wrote for Bts will be the same, especially with Bang PD's involvement.
3. It's just a side track anyways because they will make Airplane pt2 (where the lyrics will properly be just translated from the Korean lyrics) the title. (I assume this one because I only see Airplane pt2 MV in the setlist for DVD.)
trld; Non-issue.

The other problem is also the lyrics he made bout a love story between teens and teachers for example

you mean the plot to dozens of jdorama's?

also some kdramas too, maybe not in love with teacher but in love with people in their late 20s while in highschool.

Are you trolling? Or am I just that stupid?5cF9Biq.png  I don't see anything wrong with the lyrics

I thought I was clear enough but maybe I should've been more obvious. I was showing that the lyrics completely contradicted the current narrative in Korea.

With that said he's written like... 1000 songs or something, some of whom are a bit controversial, but afaik none of them are right wing.

I feel like a lot of people didn't read the lyrics.

It's a good case study in how many post without reading the OP

Some of the lyrics are disturbing but he made a lot of songs with a deep meaning, army are hypocrite sometimes because supreme boi is problematic but they are jamming to the songs he produced for bts
