I am "latina" and i've lived in 4 countries in latin america (Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Brasil). And i have traveled around the continent a lot. Do you know a bit about latin-american culture? (for example: Music, Food, etc.) If you could travel to latin-america which country would you visit? In your country are there any stereotypes about latin america? latin america is known for.... Examples of culture-clash... If you are from latin america, and if you had been outside the continent, could you share a bit of your experiences? I am really curious about this... The people in Mexico (at least where I went) were pretty nice though. In the US there's the stereotype that every Latino is Mexican and hopped the border to get here. Irks the crap out of me. Nini Bear 3,530 Posted May 27, 2014 Share Posted May 27, 2014 I live in the Netherlands and the view here is either really bad (if I'm not mistaken, quite a few Dutch tourists have been robbed or just dissapeared there - thus where it comes from) or it's just viewed like a paradise with the weather, good-looking people and all...
