Some other quick notes before you scroll down:

-A lot of these contestants are young, so keep insults to a minimum.

-No, they won't be joining Flower or E-girls. They'll be a new group.

-EXPG Lab girls all are from LDH's dance school EXPG and have experience performing with LDH artists as support dancers and some have appeared in MVs with them.
-Both vocalists and performers will go through heavy training during and after the audition, so judge more on potential.
-These threads will be posted weekly so people can keep up with the audition and their favorites!
-No, fans of E-girls/E.G.Family can't vote. This is strictly LDH/producer's choice.

-Let me know if I got any names or information wrong!

Yamada Rui totally has the LDH vibe. I guess that's why she's already part of EXPG. I totally see her making a group.

Kobiyama Riria also really has the LDH vibe, but her vocals weren't that great and she's really young so she probably won't make it into a group, but LDH could still recruit her and put her in a Bunny-type role.

Yamada Rui's family name looked alike the name of "Yokoi" udon restaurant (横井) and different from Yamada Noe's family name (山田).

 

Are my ears bad or Sakai really sounded monotonous and off-beat?

Anyway, I really liked Kunioka Mana's singing. She's only 11 but her voice is amazing. I've a feeling that she'll be chosen in the final. No one else made such a strong impression as her. Emiri looks like she's mixed ethnicity.

The thing is, not all “critiquesâ€, are actually being constructive, many are just people’s ignorant opinions - which often come off as being plain insulting and unnecessary (e.g. “I don’t like *insert name*’s voice/dancingâ€).

 

Also I think you mean “mixed-heritage†or “mixed-ethnicityâ€, she’s not a dog :)

Because of the age gap I think we are gonna see two groups at the end, one as the suppor group like The Rampage was in dance battle audition and the Debut group

A lot of what they've registered have turned out to be for projects/drama/TV. I didn't see anything from the usual account that posts that stuff though. Do you have a link?

I mean...the youngest vocalist in E-girls was Yuzuna in Follow Me at 14. If they really like her as the audition goes on, they may sign her. Though I think she'd do better in EXPG Lab where she can have time to practice more. Everything depends on the type of group they want, too.

Vocalists 
Rui, Reina, and Mana really stood out to me (Hinata was also nice). I was surprised to see how underwhelmed I was by the majority but this just makes me look that much more forward to their improvements after the boot camp.

Performers

Sara, Ran, Kokoa, Kaho, Hijiri, Moa and Marin caught my eye. Unsure of how I feel about Natsumi and Rio... I like em' but there's room for improvement. 

I would ideally like the group to be 9; 6 performers and 3 vocalists. As much as I like the Rampage, a group of 16 was just too much for me, and would prefer to see a smaller unit.

I used to wonder if LDH would put E.G Nonoka and Anna into their new GG since they were just E-girls exclusive. Yuzu has SYY outside of EG but Nonanna just model time to time. But since LDH was clear on this group being it's own entity, I guess not. 

 

Either way, I'm excited for a new team. I liked a handful of the performers and even the ones that weren't top notch were still pretty charming.

Oh... with the first 6 they all sounded really bad aside from Satou Hinata, but then the next 6 girls were all varying levels of ok.  Then it got a bit rough again (especially considering one was an older EXPG trainee... I mean, she was better than the other bad ones but higher expectations).  But Kubo Reina was decent.
