pinkpanda_spirit 14,647 Posted September 11, 2018 Share Posted September 11, 2018 same... when I get home it's past 6PM and I have to study to understand what we did but I know I'm not gonna understand so I end up not doing anything. it's already 9PM and I need to make dinner, eat and study. but I want to sleep early so that I can focus tomorrow morning. how can I do all of this? it's impossible. it's either I don't study and go to sleep and focus in class or I study and sleep late and doze off during classes (which I'm currently doing) whixh results in not understanding the lessons/exercices. I'm in my third year so I've learnt to buy ready-meals or eat at my university (which sells good dinner options for cheap). I also hang out at the library a lot because it makes me study faster and use my time a lot more efficiently, but sometimes I get stuck at home like today and I end up not doing a lot, sometimes because I fear I WON'T understand and then have to freak out about not understanding lol. I've also come to accept that sometimes I just won't be prepared for classes. It sucks but I'll catch up some other time and a lot of my fellow students are not bothered at ALL if they're not prepared so why should I be. I'm not going to Yale or smth. I'm trying to make my own meals since it's cheaper for me but if my uni had good food I would eat there too... yeah I think we end up not doing a lot because we are stuck at home so we are more tempted to procrastinate. I never studied at a library because I've always thought that I would focus better in my home sweet home but I feel like it's the opposite lol I should start going to the library too.
