A senior high rank official in Beijing said that the situation involving Fan Binbing was very serious.

Earlier, it was rumored that Fan Bingbing had been detained in a luxury hotel after being investigated for alleged tax evasion. A senior official said as he was watching the situation "Fan Bingbing is trapped, the situation is terribly serious. She will not be able to come back"

Rumors right now say that she is confined within the public security.

Meanwhile her brother who is in the group Nine Percent has been continuing updating his SNS while keeping his silence regarding his nuna's situation.

Hul..... getting detained in front of the whole public, revealing everything and getting deleted... You can just see how socially evil China is. It's surprising that no Chinese citizen is talking about it too. I know that tax evasion is serious but... imprisonment... a country where laws don't exist...

Hul... even a star that's recognized throughout the whole world... seriously, it's a controversy that I would've never imagined happening ã„·ã„·

It's already over for her?? Is that what they mean by "can't return"...

lol the majority of the public actually supports the govt. her tax evasion is super severe. (ex. For one film, her studio had two contracts written up - one where she earned $1.56 million for her work and the other where she earned $9.3 million. The $1.56 million contract was the one she based paying taxes off of. now imagine her doing that for all her movies, dramas, appearances, brand ambassadorships). she also offered illegal loans and was involved in other corruption activities. she literally committed the entire spectrum of financial crimes.

Damn, I think most people were assuming it wasn't a big thing without actually looking anything up, thanks for the explanation.

wow are knetz supporting tax evasion just because she is a star ? lol

It's because in SK is different, SM Lee Soo Man, Kang Ho Dong, Song Hye Kyo, etc get away easily, some of them even never publicly apologize and just comeback on screen with out problem.

but I really hope this isn't causing negativity towards chengcheng unsure.png

I hope it won't. He's been working hard to make a name for himself (training to become an idol in Korea was certainly not the easiest way to become a celebrity for him, but that's the path he chose for himself and I really respect him for that). During Idol Producer it looked like he didn't really like it when his sister was brought up so it's not as if he used her name for his own advancement - it's more the people around him that bring her up.

Wow, she's been up to a lot of mischief. Hope she put as much effort into her escape plans.
