This thread is to talk about your neighbors IRL.  As in talk I mean rant.

 

I'm going to start off by saying I think it's really gross when a man in my neighborhood with a huge beer belly walks around the neighborhood in just shorts and sandals. I do not live near the beach.

I hate neighbors who are overly nosy

A while back me and my neighbor used to be friends like we always hung out after school and I went to parties at his place. But then I got female friends and I’d rather hang out w/ them so I’d just go ever to his place to hang out with my crush tbh.

 

Last I heard his parents were fighting and his dad was drinking a lot...I think his dad went to the mall and begged for his job as manager back.

I hate neighbors who are overly nosy

 

One of my neighbors likes to have loud pool parties on the weekends.  We had to tell them to set a curfew.

OK there's that old lady who goes around the neighborhood ...watering people's plants @_@ At first I was really grateful and I feel bad for all the hard work she's done. However, it finally got on my nerve when she kept coming to tell EVERYONE in my family about how wrong we're doing with our front garden. It started with Oh I have a friend and he charges very cheap for gardening, then "you're doing it all wrong", "if you don't know gardening, you don't know gardening". For fuck sake leave us the fuck alone! My mother doesn't speak English so the old lady left many notes to us with the same content" you're doing it wrong". She kept coming over and talking us how ugly our roses and plants look and how she helped to water them when we weren't around. I told her politely that we can take care of the garden ourselves then she gave me THAT look like we're dumb and we know no shit bout gardening. I'm shaking even typing this.

i try to avoid seeing them at all costs so i run away if i see one of them coming but i say hi if they see me lmao

 

they're usually quiet but sometimes they would have kids running around n screaming. they also have parties sometimes for like a week straight but it doesn't really bother me

When I moved to my current appartment we only had neightbours on one side of the building, the interior side, but very recently a couple of students have moved to the other side (we are in between) and........ they are SO noisy. My room's wall is basically next to their living room, so given the thin walls and how noisy they are when they bring guests I can hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. I know their names eventhough we havent properly met yet, their teacher's names, their friend's name, their friend's friend's grandparents names, hell even their ID numbers because they said it out loud the other day. I was so used to coming back home, going into my room and finding peace and enough silence to relax and rest from a busy day and now... they are having parties midweek when the rest of us have to wake up early to go to work, it has been 2 nights in a round that they havent shut up until around 3am... it is getting on my nerves.
