I’ve seen these things done for nex7 and nine percent and they’re chinese groups so yeah I’m not surprised at his fans going all out too they really are the best when it comes to support.

I love it. This is how you get your faves noticed. Hell the fans are better at PR then the companies at this point. lmao.

Jesus christ kpop fans can be so cringe, just imagining the people at that event and seeing some random chinese dude's birthday.

There wpuld be alot of people who probably wouldn't know who he is, but they'd assume he's asian celebrity.

TruthfullY, many top-tier fashion brands these days are competing for asian, esp chinese money. They wouldn't think it's a big deal if they appeal to chinese market by pleasing them- including showing some ads for their favorite celebrity on such show. And the fans gave Guanlin publicity- it's wet dream for celebrities to have such kind promotion done by their fans.

That be said, yeah those chinese fans do have money for real....

I think it’s a good thing, Asians have such little visibility and representation in mainstream American media. If the birthday ad was for an American celeb you wouldn’t have said anything. Let everyone see how beautiful Guanlin is.

When you have Chinese fans with you, you don't even need marketing rep anymore, they'd do it for you for free XD.

That be said, Guanlin is indeed precious, and he does have good fashion sense(compared to that fashion terrorist in his group- the one hyung he seems to idolize *coughjihooncough*) plus which celeb wouldn't want to be advertise on such international event?

So this bday ad definitely would make him happy when he hears about it.

 

Ps. Ok, before wannables bash me, Jihoon is cute&fluffy enough he can even make potato sack looks good....LOL
