I am annoyed. My female friend and my crush were teasing each other

This girl is actually pretty close to me. She used to be my coworkers and now we are roommate.

She and my crush are both extremelly extrovert so he is closer to her than to me, who is pretty much introvert.

We used to work in the same office and she knew better how to start a small talk and keep conversation with him.

Since we are roommate, I told her that I like him. She is actually one of the few people who know about it.

Today, she called my crush and they were on a video call. I was there listening to their conversation and I was really annoyed. They joked about sex and compliment each others visual. She said that my crush is handsome and if she hasn't had boyfriend, she might date him. My crush laughed and asked her to go out with him. This is actually not the first time. They did it often.

Should I ditch her and move on from this guy or am I being too sensitive? I am not experienced in guy-girl relationship, so please give me your opinion T.T

Um. She sounds rude. Being an extrovert myself I would never joke about that stuff with a guy i knew my friend liked. Like absolutely not. So uncool.

If she knows you like the guy, it's pretty tactless and rude for her to be joking around with him like that. Being an extrovert isn't a reason. You aren't being sensitive by the way, you have every reason to be annoyed and upset. You deserve friends who respect you. It's not my place to say whether you should ditch her or not as a friend, but everyone deserves a friend that respects them and cares enough to not do something that will hurt the other.

well you told her you had a crush on him, but maybe she had a crush on him too and couldn't tell you after you told her(that would have been awkward af). if she had told you first, would you have backed out of it?

she seems to be going for her feelings too, so idk how close both of your friendship is to ditch her over that. but yeah that must've been very hurtful to watch and as a friend she should've been more considerate about you being right there....

if you think that they are very close and are comfortable with each other then maybe better to avoid them and keep your self distracted with other things. otherwise if you think he likes you more than try going for it maybe? at the end you know best what to do.

She sounds like a b***h tbh. Real friends would never do such thing.

I think you're being overdramatic

She has a boyfriend and he knows she has one

Are you sure you aren't mistaking banter for flirting?

I wouldn’t find it weird if they are friends cause friends sometimes jokes about sex and stuff like that without second intentions. Besides, she has a boyfriend. You could say she is trying to upset you but first you need to think if they are frienda or not. It’s normal to be sensitive when we like someone, and jealous is hard to handle but we must think clearly first and put the bad feelings at side to understand if it was malicious or not.

I wouldn't specifically say you're overreacting but you shouldn't be giving this issue too much importance and it's definitely not worthy of being upset. If you feel disappointed by her is one thing but if I was in your position I would just lose interest in that guy and wouldn't trust a lot that girl from there on.

I think they're both free to do whatever they want and even if they behave in a way you don't like/approve there's nothing you can do but at least you get to know what type of people they are better.
