I think the key is that the color looks natural. Like, there are people with this hair color and it's not dyed, so eyebrows don't get raised to see it on someone else, even if you know it's not *their* natural hair color.

 

Unlike some shades of blond and lots of reds.

Sometimes it's a bad dye job, but sometimes it's just a bad color.

This is the opposite of both of those things.
