I feel mixed I would but how I would feel insecure and probably lose weight/diet since I am already insecure. It would not stop me from loving. But I'd feel faaaat (I am not fyi. But my bf is really really thin and not really on the muscly side so it's not like I admire his body either but i can understand your concern. She stopped going, gained some weight and she looks way better now. I don't think there's much of a weight difference but I definitely look more slim than her as I'm taller; but I don't consider her fat and I tell her she looks good.
