sickwithsin 11,102 Posted September 3, 2018 Share Posted September 3, 2018 We (me & my dad) literally found out two days ago that our new landlord is going to increase the rent to over $1000 in the next two months, and now my dad just went to talk to a realtor about buying a house. We've lived in this place for almost 20 years, and in the space of one weekend, it's on the verge of becoming history. The thought of owning a home, or at least being part owner, scares me (responsibilities!) ... but the idea of truly having a place of my own is appealing. If this does happen, there's almost 20 years of mess to pack up ... (You guys don't have to read or care about this.
