I've never heard of a prominent trainee/member leave SM and still not be blacklisted? A lot of the girls that leave JYP seem to very balanced and talented but it seems to me that the company doesn't believe in slavery unlike other agencies. I have yet to hear of a one of the SMrookies girls leaving and making it on their own yet. After what happened to Jessica, I take every pro SM promo with a grain of salt. Bring me the receipts. Jyp probably can't debut the new group in the time that she wanted, it was wise to let her go instead of forcing her to be there against her will. He's not wise if he let go one of the biggest idols Weel if it's to keep good harmony in the group.. And Equal status/contract income for all member., then i'm okay.. Even if this opinion not have valid proof., but for me the reason Somi side chose to go out JYPE is because she don't want to reduce her contract exclusive artist in company to become contract new girlgroup member in company.. Because if she do that, her income from solo activity will distribute equal to all member in the group., and she can't keep more herself.. JYPE see that.. So company must be think Somi don't have same mindset/desire with other member whom only want to debut in group.. Well it's mostly because Somi already taste debut as idol & become Top Artist in South Korea.. That's the reason too why JYPE never want Somi join PD101 in the firstplace., and decline the offer for Somi 3times until Somi find out & chose to go herself.. Company must be didn't want somi to make in debut PD101.. Because if she success she will think/have upperhand compare to other member in JYPE new girlgroup, because Somi have high popularity from PD101.. If she (or her parents) have any dissatisfaction with the agency/contract/pay distribution/group, it was a smart call to leave now. Post debut, it would be too messy for everyone. Somi will shine wherever she goes. Plenty of trainees/artists leaves JYP and does well, if not better than if they had debut/stayed there. Especially solo acts.
