enchante 4,542 Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 Let’s get a few things straight. Is Kang Hyewon lacking in skill? Yes. Does that make her undeserving of her spot? No. Hyewon started as a vocalist who lacked confidence and skill, then she gravitated to a completely new skill set which she had never practiced or even considered doing before. She grew in that skill even though she struggled, she worked hard to improve it and YES she is still very lacking. But you can not deny that she took a risk and it paid off. Nor can you attack the content of her character, because she is a wonderfully selfless person. If you are so offended that Hyewon debuted you feel the need to write nasty comments, to call her undeserving or talentless for commiting the “crime†of working hard to achieve your dream, it’s you that has the problem. Not her. How would you feel if everytime you failed or messed up someone said that you were undeserving of learning the skill or being rewarded? Their debut is in a couple of months. P48 was longer than that. She hasn't improved in an environment like Produce where she has trainers and people constantly helping her. After debut there won't be time for her to practice, just go on stage and perform.
