so i always hear ppl say some poc have white/eurocentric facial features, what about vice versa?

do ppl say a white person have poc facial features like how people always do for poc when they don't look like a certain way or does this only happen to poc? (and I'm not talking about white passing poc by the way).

Yes, my sister gets that her nose looks "middle-eastern" a lot. It happens to white people as well.

my sister has been called sinophobic insults even though she's more white than asian (great grandpa was mongolian so she has slight mongolian features and darker skin than average people in our country.) 

 

i know lots of white girls that get told they have 'chinese eyes' too. apart from that, i can only think of the arab noses which was mentioned before.

Eastern Europeans often get called "arab" looking. I'd be willing to bet there's shared ancestry there anyway.

 

People have migrated everywhere, there really isn't any country that is fully homogenous. I thought my parents country was but that was because I'd only seen the northeastern parts. There are people with Chinese ancestry, arab ancestry, etc in other parts of the country but they identify as from the Indian Subcontinent. So it's not surprising if white people have those features because of years of different peoples living there

 

My friend from the north would look like a regular white girl if she didn't wear a hijab.

Usually ppl hold back from saying stuff like that bc its complimentary or at worst neutral to call someones features white (except for lips lol), but poc features are usually seen as a negative. sad really

People from all over the world have ancestors from different nationalities, so it's not unusual that sometimes white people get asked where their parents are from or w/e because they have a combination of facial features that seem unlikely for a white person. It often seems to be due to the nose lol

when Miranda Cosgrove was younger, a lot of people, myself included, thought she must have some Asian ancestry, but she actually doesn't, she's almost fully white.

I hear people say white people have "asian eyes" all the time. White features are prominent in African Americans in particular because on average they have nearly one quarter european ancestry. When you have that much european DNA then you are bound to inherit some "white" features. Most white people regardless of where they come from aren't anywhere near as mixed which is why you don't hear as much about them having poc features.
